Replies slip. Clients notice.

About 120 emails land in a working day, and maybe six of them change your work. One is a client asking something on Tuesday. One is the answer a supplier promised you by Friday. Both sink under newsletters and CCs until someone writes “any update?”

Ask someone a question and Pidgy starts counting. When the answer doesn’t come, it tells you how long it has been, what the silence is holding up and has the chase ready to send.

Reply to Anke De Meyer Re: Advance payment Q4

Professional

Dear Anke, the advance payment for Q4 is €6,850. I have attached the calculation, so your bank has everything before the 28th. Kind regards, Lotte

Friendly

Hi Anke, good news: the Q4 advance comes to €6,850. The calculation is attached, so you are all set for Friday. Lotte

Direct

Anke, Q4 advance: €6,850. Calculation attached. Lotte

Replies in your voice.

Every thread comes with three drafts: professional, friendly or direct. Or type a few words of your own and Pidgy writes the rest. It uses the figures and dates from the thread, so you check it instead of writing it.

Ask your inbox anything.

Stop searching for the email where someone said yes. Ask Pidgy in plain words and it answers with the message it found.

Is the Acme contract signed?

Yes. Jonas countersigned it on 14 April and sent the PDF back the same afternoon.

Every contact gets a memory.

Pidgy keeps a page for everyone you write to: how fast they answer, who usually replies first and what is still open between you. Before a call, you read the brief instead of scrolling back through months of mail.

Leasing statements, asked 19 Oct

Pieter runs the leasing for Kaai 9. Short emails get answered faster. The 2026 statements are the last thing missing for their annual accounts.

Your day, ranked before coffee.

Emails become tasks with who, what and by when. Drag them into your calendar and Pidgy blocks the time, so the year-end file gets two quiet hours on Thursday instead of whatever is left on Friday.

It reads. It never sends.

Letting software into a client mailbox is a real decision. Here is exactly what Pidgy can and cannot do.

  • Nothing leaves without your click. Pidgy has no permission to send on your behalf.
  • Nothing gets moved. No archiving, no marking as read, no deleting.
  • Your mail stays in the EU. Hosted in Europe, encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Your mail trains nothing. It is never used to train a model and never sold.
  • Audited company. Alkmist BV, the company behind Pidgy, is ISO 27001 certified. A DPA is available on request.
  • Leave whenever you like. Delete your account and every byte of data at any time.

Rarely do I see such well thought through software.

Sure - its a weird name (think carrier pigeon - Pidgy) but don't let that put you off.

Before you sign up.

The questions accountants, lawyers and agencies ask us first. Anything else goes to hello@alkmist.com, and a person writes back.

Which mailboxes does Pidgy work with?

Outlook, Gmail and any IMAP mailbox, such as Fastmail, Zoho, Proton Bridge or OVH. Connect more than one and Pidgy ranks them as a single list. On Gmail you can also use the Chrome extension, which puts Pidgy in the sidebar.

Will Pidgy ever send an email for me?

No. Pidgy writes drafts and has no permission to send. Every email leaves when you press send, and not before.

Does it move, archive or delete my mail?

No. Pidgy reads your mailbox and builds its own view next to it. Nothing is moved, archived, marked as read or thrown away.

Where does my email go?

Pidgy is hosted in the EU and encrypts your data in transit and at rest. Your email is used to run the service and nothing else: no model is trained on it and it is never sold. A data processing agreement is available on request, and you can delete your account and data at any time.

How long does it take to set up?

About five minutes. Connect your mailbox, give Pidgy a few minutes to read it, and your ranked list is ready.

What happens after the free week?

You choose. Pidgy costs €39 per person per month excluding VAT, or 20% less when you pay yearly. You never enter a card for the trial, so nothing renews by surprise.
